Background Information

In 2008 Michael Peart (GBR) asked himself why there wasn’t any open shoots in the UK where archers had the potential to not only win medals but to have a chance of winning money and prizes. Michael and Deben Archery Club hosted the first Tournament in 2009 known as the Ipswich International Archery Tournament.

This is a non profit making Tournament and is open to archers of all levels, a number of our sponsors committed to present some valuable prizes and it’s hoped that it will go from strength to strength in the next few years.

The name of the Tournament could change in 2010 so keep an eye open for further details later this year.
